More and more money is being made in the world of sports, this is reflected in the rates that athletes receive for their work. We are talking about astronomical amounts of money!

1. Conor McGregor – $180 million

Martial arts are becoming more and more popular, and Conor McGregor – even in a slightly weaker disposition – is a real giant. Fights with his participation are a real money-making machine, and the remaining part of the salary was the sale of his own brand of whiskey – Paper No.

2. Leo Messi – 130 million dollars

The total amount of Leo Messi’s contract with Barcelona remains shrouded in mystery to this day, but it was said to be as much as 138 million euros! Add to this, of course, advertising campaigns or the current gigantic contract with PSG and the Golden Ball winner is in second place in the ranking.

3. Cristiano Ronaldo – $120 million

Not far behind Messi is his long-time rival for the title of the best footballer in the world – Cristiano Ronaldo. The 36-year-old’s total income in the year coming to an end consisted of deals with Juventus and Manchester United, as well as numerous advertisements and investments.

4. Dak Prescott – $107 million

It is interesting that such a high place in the ranking is occupied by an athlete virtually unknown in Europe. However, there are huge sums of money to be made playing American soccer at the highest level, and Dak Prescott – of course, fully deservedly – is considered to be one of the best in this field.

5. LeBron James – $96.5 million

The best earning five closes LeBron James, considered by many as the best basketball player in the NBA. Not surprisingly, the salary of the versatile player is adequate to his incredible skills.
